Marie Westhof

Marie supports the team of Agora Industry on topics related to the decarbonization of the industrial sector, with a focus on European and national policies for climate-neutral energy-intensive industries.

In addition to her work at Agora Industry, she is pursuing a master’s degree in Economic Policy Consulting at the Ruhr University Bochum. In the course of her studies she focuses on environmental, energy and resource economics. Previously, she worked as an intern at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in the Means of Implementation (MOI) division, supporting the Paris Committee on Capacity-building (PCCB) and its network.  

Marie holds a bachelor's degree in economics with social sciences as a minor subject from the University of Cologne. In her bachelor studies, she focused on issues related to growth and welfare economics.
