DENEFF was founded in 2010 to champion energy efficiency. Since then, it has successfully campaigned for ambitious and effective energy efficiency policies in Germany and Europe. As a leading energy transition network, DENEFF drives innovation at the intersection of the market and politics. Energy efficiency is the multi-tool of the energy transition: it lowers energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, creates jobs, improves the quality of buildings, modernises factories, and strengthens infrastructure. However, realising the full potential of energy efficiency, including its economic benefits, requires better political frameworks and cross-industry collaboration among pioneering companies.
